Capture Modes
There are five distinct capture modes available within the Luna Photo Booth app, each designed to cater to different event styles and guest preferences. The specific modes that appear on the capture screen will depend on the event settings you’ve configured in Luna Cloud. Only the features you’ve enabled during the event setup will be accessible to users on the iPad. Below is a detailed breakdown of each capture mode:
Photo Mode
This is the most straightforward capture option, allowing guests to take a standard photo. Depending on the orientation of the iPad, the photo can be taken in either portrait or landscape mode, providing flexibility based on your event’s preferences. Photo Mode is fully compatible with DSLR cameras, offering higher-quality image capture for events that require professional-grade photography.GIF Mode
In GIF Mode, the app will capture a series of consecutive photos and automatically stitch them together to create a short animated sequence in MP4 format. This fun and interactive option adds a dynamic element to the event, allowing guests to create playful animations. Just like in Photo Mode, DSLR camera support is also available, ensuring top-notch image quality for each frame in the animation.Video Mode
Video Mode allows the app to capture short video clips, the duration of which is determined by the settings you’ve configured in Luna Cloud. This mode is perfect for events where guests want to record short messages, performances, or simply enjoy an interactive video experience. You can control the length of the videos to fit the theme and flow of your event, offering a customizable multimedia option.Snapback Mode
Also known as "Boomerang Mode," Snapback Mode creates a short looping video that plays forward and then reverses, repeating the action in a fun, continuous loop. The final output is an MP4 file, and the effect is particularly popular for capturing quick, playful movements or gestures. Guests can enjoy the visual appeal of these looped moments, adding a dynamic and trendy touch to their experience.Collage Mode
Collage Mode allows users to take multiple photos—either 2, 3, or 4—and arrange them into a single layout. The specific layout is preconfigured through Luna Cloud, meaning you have full control over how the final collage will appear. This mode offers a creative way for guests to capture a sequence of moments and combine them into a visually appealing format, perfect for sharing or printing.Gallery (Optional)
The Gallery button, if enabled, will provide guests with the option to browse through all the photos, GIFs, videos, and collages that have been captured during the event. This feature encourages interaction and allows attendees to revisit and share their favorite moments instantly. The gallery can be customized to fit the event's branding and theme, making it an optional yet engaging addition to the capture experience.
Each of these capture modes provides a unique way for guests to interact with the photo booth, ensuring a diverse and enjoyable experience that can be tailored to fit the needs and atmosphere of any event.
